The New Standard in Surf Exploration

Now in its third season, Maps to Nowhere is a Surfline original series created in partnership with O’Neill. Each episode follows O’Neill athletes as they chase swells to remote, mysterious locations around the world. The concept is simple, but only Surfline has the forecasting expertise and global platform to consistently deliver waves of this caliber to an audience of this scale. Together, we’ve built one of the most talked-about series in surfing, positioning O’Neill at the forefront of modern surf exploration and storytelling.

Season 2, Episode 3: Chasing Seconds

Season 2, Episode 3: OK, by now you’ll have figured out what M2N is all about: a wing and a prayer, a mystery location, and a moment you’ll never quite forget. But in “Chasing Seconds”, the whole thing goes to a completely new level. Caity, Timo, and Soli are carried off to a surf zone they’re never heard of in their lives, driven by nothing more than explorer Matt’s remote-control research, that and crazily pinpoint Surfline team forecasting.

Season 3, Episode 1: The Continent of Sand

In the latest episode of Maps to Nowhere, Surfline and O’Neill’s ongoing series that aims to put the O’Neill team into empty perfection. There was a swell and there was a point — that much we knew — but would the sand be right? Along with Brett, Soli Bailey, Ian Crane and Sarah Baum ventured halfway across the world to find what Soli called, "the best left point I've ever seen."

Season 1, Episode 1: The Lost Atoll

This is a series about the lengths surfers will go to surf perfect, empty waves. The waves you are about to see are not new discoveries -- but they are (nearly) perfect, and they are empty. The locations are not disclosed because our belief is that the journey is at least half the fun -- and sometimes, over half of the travel time. We thank the many local community members that helped make our adventures a success
